The mission of the Tourist offices is to respond to requests for information from tourists, travellers and residents in Bilbao and Bizkaia, with the aim of satisfying their expectations about the destination and helping to make their stay longer and more enjoyable.
As well as the services offered to tourists and residents, the Tourist Offices promote and present the most representative parts of the city of Bilbao, offering guided tours led by professional guides, who inform the visitors about the most emblematic areas.
The Bilbao Ekintza Area of Tourism has two Tourist offices in Bilbao. One is in the Plaza Circular and the other is next to the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum.

The Bilbao Tourist Offices have received the Q for Quality Tourism distinction in accordance with the requirements of the UNE-ISO 14785-2015 standard. They have an Accessibility Management system pursuant to standards UNE 170001-1:2007 and UNE 170001-2:2007 on Universal Accessibility, and the Service Charter, pursuant to standard UNE 93200.
