To participate in the Employment Plans promoted by the Bilbao City Council through Bilbao Ekintza, you must be registered with Lanbide, the Basque Employment Service, as an unemployed person. This procedure will allow you to consult and register through their web page all the job offers included in our employment plans.

Once you are registered in an offer, either on your own initiative through the website itself or from the selection made by the Lanbide team, we will receive directly your application and curriculum, so no other specific procedure will be necessary with Bilbao Ekintza.

Bilbao Ekintza will carry out the final selection through personal interviews, guaranteeing an open and transparent process.

  • Requirements to participate in the Bilbao Employment Plan: To be a resident of Bilbao, to be unemployed, to be registered with Lanbide as a job seeker, to belong to one of the groups established by the Call for Aid for local employment promotion actions of Lanbide.
  • Requirements to participate in the Youth Employment Plan: To be a resident of Bilbao, under 30 years of age, unemployed, registered or enrolled in Lanbide as a job seeker and to be registered or enrolled in the Youth Guarantee System.

The requirement of being an unemployed person logically implies not being registered in the Social Security, something that like the rest of the requirements (registration in Lanbide, residence in Bilbao, etc.), must be fulfilled from the day that Lanbide – Basque Employment Service contacts you or you register in an offer in its web page, until the same day of the hiring.
